Description: The article highlights a methodological approach that allows you to determine the required number of human resources reserves, the frequency and duration of training sessions with reservists (military). In contrast to the well-known methodological approach, based on statistical data processing and formalization of the process of changing the level of training of reservists during training sessions and in the inter-election period, as well as taking into account the outflow of reservists, new expressions were obtained to determine the required number of human resources reserve, frequency and duration training sessions with reservists (military duty). In accordance with the main objectives of the defense reform and the requirements of the National Security Strategy of Ukraine, the creation of a human resources reserve is a top priority for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It should be noted that over the years of Ukraine's independence, the nature of the reserve and the designation of its components have changed several times. At present, the reserve is intended as part of the human resources reserve, which is intended for mobilization deployment of military units of constant readiness and those formed during a special period and completing their personnel to wartime staff. However, at present, there is no clear understanding in the Armed Forces of how to determine the required number of human resources reserves. Particularly acute is the question of how to prepare the reserve and maintain its training at the required level. Therefore, the improvement of methodological approaches (methods) of determining the required number of human resources reserve, the frequency and duration of training sessions with reservists (military) is topical scientific task. Today, in order to improve existing methods of determining the required number of human resources reserves, the frequency and duration of training sessions with reservists (military service members), it is necessary to solve the problem of using new approaches to formalize the process of changing the level of training of reservists during training sessions and in the period between training as well as taking into account the outflow of reservists. The article highlights a methodological approach that allows you to determine the required number of human resources reserves, the frequency and duration of training sessions with reservists (military). The proposed methodological approach, unlike the known ones, is based on expressions derived from the processing of statistics that formalize the process of changing the level of training of reservists during training sessions and in the inter-election period, and also take into account the outflow of reservists over time.

Keywords: required number of reserve, outflow of reservists, training fees with reservists, change in the level of reservists training.
