Description: Will consider order of accuracy estimating of the fighter guidance to an air target by angle and time of arrival. Profes-sional activity of combat control officer in a process of guidance of fighters to an air targets can be accompanied by various mistakes. Combat control officers mistakes cause fighter combat orders delay. This make bad influence on accuracy and opera-tive control, that can cause misguidance of plane relative to calculated (estimated) position of the fighter to an air target. Mis-takes can cause failure of the attack of an air target or even failure of the combat mission (also called missed mission). So the main objective of this work is to study questions of on assessing the accuracy of plane relative to calculated (estimated) position of the fighter to the air target by angle and time of arrival. Also providing practical recommendations to the combat control offi-cer for the compensation of possible mistakes during fighter guidance to an air targets. The main reasons of guidance mistakes when fighter is brought to a calculated (given) to the air target position were analyzed. It was reviewed how the mistakes of guidance on distance and interval affect guidance accuracy by angle. Because guidance mistakes by distance and interval are independent, the total guidance mistake by the angle was founded. Conditions in which angle mistakes will have maximum values were founded. A graph that shown dependences of the guidance mistakes on the angle and time of approach to the air target were built. It was analyzed how the deviation of the fighter in the interval and distance effects on necessary time to get fighter to a given distance to an air target. Practical recommendations to combat control officers were given to increase accuracy of fighter guidance to an air target and to improve the effectiveness of the combat mission. The main of them are: regulation of the roll of the fighter in the second stage of guidance; full use of the maneuverability of a fighter; making, if it necessary, turns with a maximum roll for a given height; ability to detect and correct mistakes that can occur during guidance in time.
