The mathematical model and method of calculation of the rainfall flow on a flat inclined artificially rough surface in case of the crosswind presence is proposed. Elaborated model is based on a simplified form of the viscous liquid motion governing equations and semi-empirical description of turbulence together with accounting the phenomena of liquid flow and irregular surface structure interaction. A comparison of the results of the developed model application with experimental data has demonstrated the better levels of accuracy and universality in comparison with the calculating formulae of other authors.
