In the article, we determine and analyze the errors of meteorological objects’ reflectivity estimation by typical radar means (RM) of radio engineering forces. It is shown that such radar means are potentially able to measure the reflectivity of hazardous meteorological formations (MF) with necessary quality factors at the stage of MF recognition. The considered radar means supplied with special channels for meteorological signal processing could serve as a substantial additional source of meteorological information for National integrated network of population warning about dangerous atmospheric phenomena.
