It is defined the problem and it is solved an inverse task of the bullet action on the target. As a result of its solving it is offer the methods, which allows due to the results of data processing of ballistic experiments to determine the numerical values of quantities characterizing the interaction of bullets and targets. The solution results of the given task can be used in the construction of bullets with preset properties. The solution of the given task is received using the method of nonlinear regression analysis and the downhill simplex method.
