The article deals with the ways of evaluating the effectiveness of life cycle aircraft engine propulsion system of an aircraft for military use. The necessity of developing a common methodology for determining the characteristics of the life cycle air engine in the system of military aircraft. Shown that maintenance of aircraft produced by several methods of technical operation, which differ model calculation stages of the life cycle engine. The necessity to consider the cost of military organization in the planning phase, accelerated proof upgrades or modifications to aircraft with limited financial resources.
