Engineering-and-economical performance estimation methodic of a light domestic airliner - turboprop engine system

A methodic of estimation of a technical and economic performance of a turboprop engine in the system of a light regional passenger airplane is presented. On the basis of the developed methodic a module program complex including initial data blocks of an airplane and engine, type of flight, calculation of aerodynamic characteristics of an airplane with the chosen engine, calculation of an aircraft performance characteristics and engineering-and-economical performance, analysis of the obtained results is created. For verification of the developed methodic main aerodynamic characteristics of the L-410M and L-410 UVP airplanes, service and economic data are calculated, “length of horizontal flight – payload” diagrams are built. The satisfactory concordance of experimental and calculation data is shown.
