Possibility of the use fractal dimension is considered for the analysis signals of seismic sensors. It is shown that the decline of size fractal dimension which settled accounts by the method coverage allows to define the moment beginning vibrations of earthly surface. It is set that change of size fractal dimension which settles accounts by the method determination of length of line, also allows to define the moment beginning vibrations of earthly surface and explore character of these vibrations. Also certainly, that the mean values fractal dimension of explosion and earthquake enable to distinguish what action oscillation of earthly surface was caused.
