A brief description of the present most commonly used algorithm for tracking source of active jamming with triangulation method in automated control systems of radio-technical troops algorithm is provided. Algorithm basics are explained and implemented in software applications. With the simulation approach time estimations of decision period of each function program are obtained, which allows to identify ways of improving the algorithm for AJS (active jamming source) tracking, that is based based on the triangulation method.
