The metal-halide high-pressure lamps starting (ignition) problems, various designs and geometric dimensions of the burners experimental studies results are considered. Optimize the composition of the discharge burners gas filling to reduce the ignition voltage as a result of carried out work, which allowed for some of its design to produce reliable start lamps without special arrangements and ignition systems.
