There have been issues of concern to solve the problem of optimal signal reception with unknown species and the modulation parameters for the space diversity reception in the general case, when the mutual delay of signals between the receiving antennas may exceed the correlation interval signals (multi-station system) or can be comparable with the wavelength (multichannel direction-finders). On the basis of an adaptive Bayesian approach for such cases is an example of synthesizing an optimal detector of signals.
