The investigation processes of reflection and attenuation of plane waves in the frequency range corresponding to the spectrum used in the practice of sounding UWB signals to search for people in the rubble. Taken into consideration the dispersion properties of building materials, under which there is a human, human and earth. It is shown that when the location of the receiving antenna there is in free space, signal reflected from the human, masked by radiation reflected from the surface of the brick-layer, and when the location of the receiving antenna on the surface there is on the layer of building material masking effect is significantly reduced.
