The paper presents the mathematical model of the distribution of sub-channels in the IEEE 802.16 networks using a scalable version of OFDMA. The proposed model enables you to choose the width of the frequency channel to meet the requirements on the speed of user stations. The choice of different optimality criteria to ensure maximum network capacity when allocating the required minimum frequency resource on used frequency channel, or to improve signal-noise conditions in the used frequency band. A comparative analysis of the solutions obtained by using different optimality criteria.
