Computational methods for the synthesis of regular nonlinear substitution components for symmetric encryption algorithms are considered. With the use of a mathematical tool of correlation and spectral analysis the search criteria ofnonbinary cryptographic functions for nonlinear substitution components of symmetric encryption algorithms is substantiated. On the basis of the improved weighting coefficients of the search cost functions further development of the method of simulated annealing is proposed, the effectiveness of proposed approach is investigated.
