An analysis of researches of urban areas relief streamline modeling

The analysis of experimental and theoretical results respectively ground relief and, in particular, urban areas has been made. Special attention was paid to governing physical processes, which cause the formation of vortex structural features of the wind flow around buildings of large sizes, characteristics of the force interaction and the processes of pollution diffusion distribution in the elements of urban areas. The importance of developing the mathematical models of mentioned above processes with a goal of practical implementation of modern scientific approaches to determine the maximally allowable density of urban development is justified.
