Degradation of the adsorption capacity of the cdi electrodes

The article describes degradation of the adsorption capacity of the titanium-modified material SAUT-1C, which is used for production of CDI cells. The research results show that if the voltage on the electrodes increases within the range of 0,75-1,5 V, the amount of adsorbed salt also increases. After 250 charge-discharge cycles the adsorption capacity decreased by 35.5%. The decrease in the rate of degradation was observed at the same time.
