The complexity and nonlinearity of infrastructures and safety critical systems, existence of data with the different qualimetric nature, which describes their behavior, call for the needs of development of new safety assessment approaches to help integrating this data in the one framework. The method suggested in this paper is based on a sequential bottom-up and top down integration of BBN and fuzzy logic interference (FLI), which allows using object-related qualitative and quantitative data. FLI application helps obtaining the object logical-linguistic model. BBN facilitates the objects’ states determination when these objects belong to the same hierarchy level and assigns subset of parents and children objects, determining the relations between their states as well. Integration of BBN and FLI allows decreasing the amount of input information (measurements) required for safety assessment when these methods are used independently outside from the proposed integration framework.
