The use of acoustic screens is one of the most promising areas of protection of the dwelling zones from the negative impacts of transport noise that has significant advantages compared to other noise measures. The proposed Y-shaped model of the acoustic screen with sound-absorbing surface in addition to the advantages which specified by the design implementation, meets the requirements of the reducing of the spread of secondary acoustic waves. A theoretical calculation of the efficiency of the acoustic screen depending of its geometrical parameters confirms the feasibility of using of Y-shaped composite construction.
