The experimental results on the decomposition of 0.1% heptyl-containing standard test water solution at the treatment with ozone-oxygen gas mixture with ozone concentration of 15 – 30 gО3/m 3 are presented in the paper. It was shown, that the use of catalytic additives significantly accelerates the process of heptyl neutralization. The rate of NDMA decomposition by ozone, formed as a result of intermediate oxidation is 3 times lower than the rate of heptyl decomposition.
