The aerodynamic characteristics of a mathematical model of the wing of the aircraft An-74 with goal to determine the effect from deflection of the trailing edge lift devices on the critical Mach number and improving of the aerodynamic characteristics of the aircraft at cruising flight are considered. It is shown that the deflection of the wing’s trailing edge high lift device on the full span can increase the critical Mach number up to 7%. The possible deflection angles of the wing trailing edge depending on the Mach number for the aircraft An-74 being investigated were found.
