The article deals with the basic principles of the system approach to the projects of creation of unmanned aircraft equipment and properties of the system object. The design phase of unmanned aircraft systems is presented in the form of a systemic cube. The models used in the design of aircraft equipment are also described in the article. The relationship between the design models has been studied. The article presents the reasons for the occurrence of iterations in the design of unmanned aircraft in the course of its life cycle. The design process project is presented as a dichotomic tree.
