The task of reduction of the minimum safe altitude of air release is now one of the most important tasks, and one of the priorities in the field of parachute-building. There is an analysis of the process of cargo-parachute system air release in the article. The stages that require time minimizing were pointed out. The examples of practical methods of reduction of height loss of on some stages were made. A mathematical model of the braking system was built. Using the modeling results, it became possible to specify existing conventional experimental data in preparation to airdropping, that can significantly extend the range of possible applications of parachute system at the lowest safe altitude of air dropping.
