The classification of metrological validation tasks for software used in metrology is considered. A methodology of uncertainty estimation due to applied software is discussed. A conclusion is done that decision of task of evaluation of exactness of result of measuring, got with the use of software, it is possible to break up on three stages in accordance with the stages of evaluation of basic constituents of vagueness.
