Assessment of fluctuation errors of tracking system based on synchronized self-oscillator

Analytical expressions are calculated for the quantitative dispersion assessment of the phase- and frequency fluctuations during the exposure of an additive mixture of band-limited harmonic and interfering signals onto the synchronized self-oscillator operating as the tracking system. Theoretical calculations are based on the method of substitution of the natural noise source in self-oscillator by the band-limited input noises. Examples of calculation of the frequency and phase dispersion assessment according to near-real data for Doppler velocity systems are given.
