Experimental investigation of the characteristics of phase-manipulated hydro-acoustical signals with continuously spread spectrum in reverberation channels

There are demonstrated the experimental results of hydro-acoustic communication in channels with high level of reverberation. The differential quaternary phase manipulation was applied for encoding of transmitting data. The carrier represented an oscillation with, characterised with continuously spread spectrum. There is demonstrated the influence of the form of fre-quency variation – vobbulaion of the carrier – onto the quality of data transmission according to criterion of bit error rate.
