The article deals with built-in control systems organization of weapons and military equipment. The main weaknesses that prevent integration systems and weapons systems of USSR production in the global system such as CALS. Authors identifies the main directions development of technical diagnostics systems. The most appropriate method of diagnostic monitoring automated or automatic way based on this analysis. Particular attention is drawn to the fact that it is the information of weapons and military equipment technical condition, which provided by automatic means of diagnostic testing, is that feedback that links military units with industry and design teams. It is concluded that the development and widespread adoption of automated systems for monitoring and diagnostics allow to approach some issues technical support to the standards adopted in the leading countries - members of the collective security system.
