The methodological and organization aspects of an electronic weighting instruments calibration in chemical-analysis laboratories are discussed. The main requirements of national and international normative documents were examined. Uncertainty budget for developed calibration procedure were given, several of its components were scrutinized. The estimation of uncertainty while calibration of an electronic weighting instrument OHAUS was cited as an example.
