Paper discusses an analysis of the Monte Carlo method for estimating uncertainty of measurement results. The modification of the Monte Carlo method is noted as a promising solution to the problem of improving the accuracy evaluation of measurement uncertainty. The possibilities of the use of advanced information technologies for the implementation of this method are discussed. The scope of further research with the goal of practical implementation of the Monte-Carlo method is shown.
