The analysis of a heterogeneous computer network is carried out. One of the main features of the heterogeneous network traffic is significant instability and variability, which is the result of inconsistent interaction of integrated traffic components. The possibility of modeling packet telecommunication traffic using chaos theory and chaotic transformations. The modeling process of fractal solitone functions is developed. The research is resulted in understanding possibility of creation of heterogeneous computer network traffic model based on its representation in the form of solitone functions as solution of KdV nonlinear differential equations.
